What Did St. Say?

1/  St. Clement ở Alexandria (150-215):

Every woman should be filled with shame by the thought that she is a woman.

2/ St. Jerome (342-420):

But for my part I say that mature girls must not bathe at all, because they ought to blush to see themselves naked.

Woman is the gate of the Devil, the way of evil, the sting of the scorpion, in a word, a dangerous thing.

4/ St. John Chrysostom (347-407):

Among savage beasts none is found so harmful as a woman.

You not only let a harlot be a harlot, you made her into a murderess….Woman, made for reproduction, becomes, because of you, a tool of murderer.

5/ St. Anthony (1195-1231):

When you see a woman, consider that you face not a human being, but the devil himself. The woman’s voice is the hiss of the snake.
